Terms of service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of buracare.com and any purchase you make through it. "BuraCare", "we", "us", and "our" refer to BuraCare Canada. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian to use this site or purchase from it.

Products and accuracy

  • We try to display product colours, dimensions, and descriptions as accurately as possible. Slight variations may occur due to screens, lighting, or photography.
  • Prices are listed in CAD (Canadian dollars) and are subject to change without notice.
  • We reserve the right to limit quantities, refuse service, or cancel orders at our sole discretion.

Medical disclaimer

BuraCare compression socks are designed for general wellness, daily comfort, lower-leg support, and sport recovery. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any specific medical condition. If you have a diagnosed condition, persistent leg symptoms, varicose veins, diabetes, peripheral arterial disease, severe heart failure, severe neuropathy, or any other circulatory concern, please consult a qualified Canadian healthcare provider before starting daily compression wear. Discontinue use immediately if you experience pain, numbness, or skin irritation.

Orders and payment

  • Submitting an order constitutes an offer to purchase, subject to our acceptance. We confirm orders by email once payment is received and stock is verified.
  • We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, and PayPal where available.
  • Charges to your card are made at the time of order. If we cancel your order, the charge is refunded in full.

Shipping and returns

Shipping and return rules are set out in our Shipping Policy and Refund Policy, which are incorporated into these Terms.

Intellectual property

All content on this site — including text, graphics, logos, product photography, the BuraCare name, and the BuraCare brand mark — is owned by BuraCare or licensed to us, and protected by Canadian and international intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the site without our written permission.

User content

If you submit reviews, comments, photos, or other content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, and display that content for marketing and product purposes. You confirm the content is yours, doesn't infringe anyone's rights, and isn't misleading or harmful.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Canadian law, BuraCare, its directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, contractors, and licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or products purchased through it. Our total liability for any claim related to the site or your purchases is limited to the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold BuraCare and its team harmless from any claim, demand, or expense arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the site.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario. Any disputes will be brought in the courts of Ontario, Canada.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
